HERE'S HOW WE EXECUTE A BRANDING PROJECT

How We Work - Branding

STEP 1

Client Briefing

The client has a very active role to play at this stage of the engagement. The brief that client provides acts as the bible as it explains what the client wants, the objectives, the brand guidelines for our young, passionate designers to weave their magic. This could happen over a phone call, a webex call, or an in-person meeting too.

STEP 2

Research/ Discovery

This is what we call as design discovery phase via research and visualization. To churn out any design, a good designer or visualizer has to research about key design trends, client competitors and their communication strategy, the market and key demographics, and various other parameters that will help him create visually stunning brand identity or messaging.

STEP 3

Concept Visualization & Execution

The research stage is followed by visualizing a set of initial design concepts and mock ups (at times via hand sketches) before being generated on a design authoring tool like Adobe Photoshop or Illustration or even InDesign depending on the type of branding project we are dealing with, while strictly following the brand guidelines and briefing shared by the client at the start of the project.

STEP 4

Alternatives or Refinement

Seldom are clients satisfied with the initial design concepts and in fact, why should they be? So at this stage, we more than willingly produce fresh designs/ concept or refine the initial concepts to fit in client’s feedback on the concepts shared previously.

STEP 5

QC before Launch

Once the client is satisfied with the design, this is where our internal multi-step quality check and review process kicks in before the final design assets are ready for launch. Final design files are then prepared in multiple digital formats or print-friendly formats, based on project expectations.

STEP 6

Managing Assets

The process isn’t complete yet. All design assets and resources used in the project execution need to be meticulously managed and packaged together in a shareable folder for both internal and external stakeholders. Such assets may include stock images and their licenses, fonts, mock ups, print files, production sizes, to ensure that there are readily referenceable.
